SITRONICS Microelectronics Solutions is a leading Russian manufacturer of microelectronics for all basic indices: technological level, volume of output and sales, export deliveries.

The Parent enterprise of this business line is JSC NIIME & Micron. It also includes the Voronezh Plant of Semiconductors-Micron, SITRONICS Smart Technologies, design center SITRONICS Microdesign, the Scientific Research Institute of Precision Instruments, SITRONICS Nanotechnologies, sales representatives in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, an assembly plant in China and other organizations. SITRONICS Microelectronics Solutions employs about 3,000 staff of which 1,600 work at Micron.

Micron has at its disposal a powerful R&D centre collaborating with academic scientific research institutes and design bureaus on an ongoing basis.

The R&D amounts to 17 to 19% of proceeds annually which is common practice for innovative business worldwide.

A complete chain for manufacturing smart cards has been set up at the enterprise: from designing a chip to manufacturing contactless RFID-cards and chip modules used for producing contact-type smart cards.

The enterprise has about 400 customers in Russia and 100 abroad and collaborates on a continuing basis with more than 50 branch and academic institutes of scientific research and design centres. The Equipment of the enterprise has been certified by international auditors to be in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
