Social Responsibility
JSC SITRONICS is committed to corporate social responsibility in its activity. The main priorities of JSC SITRONICS in this field are: social protection and increase of competence of the employees, observance of the human rights, healthcare, aiding to development of the education system, development of the scientific and technical potential, environmental safety in production and generally, support of the social and economical infrastructure in regions where the company is present. In Russia and in the other countries where the company is present, JSC SITRONICS is running the charity projects implementing the programs of support for children and veterans, and implements the cultural and educational programs.
Personnel
The social policy of SITRONICS is based on efficient organization of work and o social protection of personnel. A great attention is paid to the social issues of employees: the entities have the programs of medical insurance for the employees, provision of social aid, accommodation for employees from other cities, compensation of the costs of food, accommodation and transport. The social package of SITRONICS also includes the company mobile phones for the key employees and the cars. The company has the system of motivation and awarding for the employees.
The entities of SITRONICS strictly comply with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. The social benefits stipulated in the legislation are applicable to all categories of employees. A number of enterprises have the collective agreements and trade unions, which organize different social events, consulting of employees in regard of the Labor Code, provision of the vouchers to the health centers for employees and to the summer camps for children.
The safety instructions for different occupations are in place to prevent accidents. The areas where hazardous chemicals are used or that are imposed to hazardous physical impact go through periodic checks to monitor the working environment.
In November 2009 SITRONICS received the award of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs in the contest “Employer of the year for youth: engineering staff for innovation Russia”.
The OJSC “NIIME and Micron” (one of companies in SITRONICS Microelectronics) took 3rd place in nomination “Loyalty to traditions” in the Moscow contest “Best company for working mothers 2009”.
Education
SITRONICS pays great attention to professional growth of employees. The companies of the Group continuously support the programs for skills improvement for the employees. These programs include professional training and improvement of skills of the specialists in educational centers, training of management, probation in foreign companies, training in the corporate university.
The company participates in educational and innovation projects and programs for search and hiring of young talented engineers and scientists.
The educational and social portal “Do the math!” was launched in September 2009 (www.UchiMatematiku.ru), which is aimed to popularize the math and other exact sciences in society. The project “Do the math!” became a winner of Runet 2009 in nomination “Science and education”.
As a part of the program of work with the youth SITRONICS runs the programs of grants, arranges the practical training for students, provides help with preparation of conferences in profile universities. On the Day of Knowledge, September 1, SITRONICS presented the mobile computer class to the school #141 of Ufa city (the capital of Bashkortostan). The computer class is a part of the innovation scalable solution “Multimedia informational and educational environment” (MIOS), which is capable to make dramatic improvement of quality and availability of education in schools bringing it to international standards.
A cooperation agreement was signed at the end of the year with the Moscow Financial and Industrial Academy regarding establishment of the Chair of high-tech management, which is chaired by the President of SITRONICS Sergey Aslanian.
In Greece SITRONIC annually provides the grants for employees of the company for participation in master programs in Greek University.
Science and innovations
The innovations are the key factor of development of SITRONICS and the basis of success on the Russian and global technological markets. The company performs and intensive scientific and research activity, which helps SITRONICS to increase the competitive ability of own products and solutions successfully. The R&D is performed by the business units and through the mechanisms of global and local partnerships, in framework of cooperation with international research organizations, through venture funds. The level of equipment of the laboratories with devices and testing tools I R&D centers in Athens, Prague and Zelenograd complies with the highest international requirements.
Environment and infrastructure
The companies of SITRONICS went through international expertise of environmental management and obtained the certificates of environmental management system according to ISO 14001.
The OJSC “NIIME and Micron” (one of the companies in SITRONICS Microelectronics) became the first Russian manufacturer of microelectronics, which passed the international expertise of compliance to environmental standards of manufacturing. The quality management system of OJSC “NIIME and Micron” is certified for compliance to the international standards of series ISO 9000 from 1999 and goes through re-certification once every three years. In June 2009 the supervisory audit of environmental management system was successfully passed. The program of environmental management for 2008-2010 was approved and is being implemented.
The manufacturing facilities of SITRONICS in Greece have the programs of collection and processing of hazardous wastes.
Charity
SITRONICS is proactively supports the charitable activity supporting social groups that are in need. In 2009 the Regulation o charitable activity was approved.
In Russia
One of the most important charitable projects of SIRONICS is cooperation with the Moscow fund “Mercy”. SITRONICS provides material aid to the veterans of WW2, to people who were working in the back land during the war, to participants of military conflicts, handicapped persons, veterans in the companies. Also, before the V Day on May 9 SITRONICS provided the material aid to the veterans of WW2 who experience the need. The action was performed with the support of the Ministry of Social Protection of the population of Moscow city.
One of the priorities in the charity policy of SITRONICS is care about children. In 2009 the material aid was provided to the three years old girl, which is suffering from a serious oncological disease – the funds were transferred with participation of the employees to the Russian Public Fund of development of Russia.
On the New Year’s Eve the program “Present a dream!” was implemented. 52 children from Rybnovsk orphanage in Ryazan region received holiday presents.
In Ukraine
For a number of years SITRONICS continues cooperation with the charity fund “Child’s dream providing help to the children. Traditionally, the help to the veterans of WW2 is being provided, as well as to the former prisoners of the concentration camps, invalids of war and of the military forces of Ukraine.
To make popular the healthy way of life and support children and mass sport in 2009 SITRONICS made a donation to the children sport organization “Judo club”.
In Czech Republic, Greece, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Armenia
During 2009 the subsidiaries of SITRONICS supported the sport and municipal events. In cooperation with the charity and public funds SITRONICS supports children from problem families, children who are sick with cancer, handicapped persons, families of handicapped children. Equipment for medical and educational organizations was purchased.
