SITRONICS Microelectronic Solutions develops, produces and markets microelectronic products. We use the most advanced technologies in Russia and the CIS. Our broad experience in microelectronics production, highly qualified engineering personnel, and our own design centre form a solid base for further successful expansion of our microelectronics production.

Our strategic objective is to maintain and further consolidate our position as Russia's largest producer of semiconductor microcircuits. We intend to make the Microelectronic Solutions the leader in the field of microelectronics design and production in the CIS and Eastern Europe. In order to fulfill this task, we aim to strengthen our position as Russia and the CIS' largest producer with the most advanced production capacities; to maintain our plate-based microchip market share in the Asian region (China, Taiwan, South Korea) by optimizing cost structure and improving product quality, raising production to the latest technological level of 0.18 micron, and by consolidating our position in the SMART card segment.

In 2006, we made an important step on the way to creating Russia's most modern microcircuit production facilities by signing a cooperation agreement with the French company STMicroelectronics, one of the world's major microelectronics producers, for the transfer of 0.18 micron production technology. We are already the largest Russian microelectronics producer and the largest product exporter. Partnership with STMicroelectronics will allow us to complete the unified production chain from microcircuit design to the manufacture of final products at our plants. The new production facilities will stimulate domestic developments not only in microelectronics, but also in the field of complete electronic systems.

We intend to forge partnerships with other leading Russian companies in the field of scientific and technological cooperation and production of power electronics and also force product and geographical synergies with other SITRONICS business divisions.
