Venture Business is comprised of two units: Consumer Electronics and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS).

SITRONICS Consumer Electronics develops, assembles and markets audio-visual and consumer electronics under the SITRONICS brand name. Our strategic objective is to further advance the brand in Russia and Ukraine. We intend to create a popular brand with a unique commercial offer to the market, which combines original product design and breakthrough technologies resulting from R&D activities performed by other SITRONICS business divisions.

In line with our strategy we will offer products in two categories: audio and video systems including liquid crystal and plasma TV sets, DVD players, home cinemas, and high quality components for audio systems, as well as portable electronic devices including players with solid state memory, miniature DVD players and TV sets.

We offer products and services through a distribution network which comprises 170 dealers in Russia and Ukraine, including large-scale Russian outlet chains such as Eldorado, М.Video, Tekhnosila and employ 263 third party centres for guaranteed after-sale servicing. Our products are made by manufactures in Taiwan, Russia, and China.

We acquire main components for our products from leading Asian manufacturers. For example, we receive liquid-crystal displays directly from AU Optronics and Chi Mei Optoelectronics. Direct access to the product line of the leading Asian manufacturers gives us an edge over our main competitors for those products on the Russian market.

SITRONICS EMS includes the assembling of telecom equipment, consumer electronics, and computer hardware at our production facilities on a contractual basis. One of the division's activities is the TFT matrix production, unique for Russia. Our production capacities are concentrated in Zelenograd.

Among our major customers in the IT sector are Proview and Fujitsu-Siemens and the TCL Corporation in the consumer electronics sector.

SITRONICS plans to extend its range of contract manufacturing services by developing its own components, which will be used in the assembling of end products. We also intend to establish joint ventures with foreign companies operating in Russia, as well as partnerships with brand leaders aimed at placing orders at our production facilities.
